Sustainability: A Multidimensional Commitment

Sustainability is a complex and multidimensional concept that concerns the balanced interaction between the environment, society, and the economy. In particular, this concept is based on the idea of meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.

On our channels, we often focus on environmental sustainability, that is, the conservation of natural resources and the reduction of the negative impact of human activities on the environment. Specifically, this includes, as a company, the sustainable management of resources, the reduction of waste, the fight against climate change, and the use of raw materials that are as eco-friendly as possible.

Therefore, this process also requires the collaboration of partners who take on greater responsibility towards the environment by adopting more sustainable production methods.

The entire range guarantees:

• Extreme adhesive strength: the tapes have equal or superior performance to classic packaging tapes.

• Sustainability: the raw materials that make up the tapes come from responsible sources (organic or recycled supports and solvent-free adhesives) and are easily recyclable.

• Variety: the tapes have different supports and adhesives depending on the end use the customer has for them. As a result, the range includes paper and film tapes with different types of adhesive and performance.

 

 

PRODUCT OVERVIEW

tesa® 60408:

This is a premium paper packaging tape with water-based natural rubber adhesive. Its support is resistant to tears and traction.
Furthermore, the product is perfectly printable with all inks.
Ideal for medium-heavy boxes (max 20 kg).

tesa® 4713:

 

Packaging tape made of a creped paper backing and natural rubber adhesive.
In particular, the special composition of the tape makes it suitable to be thrown away together with the packaging on which it is applied.
It is also perfectly printable with all inks.
Ideal for medium-light boxes (max 10 kg).

tesa® 4313:

This is a high-quality packaging tape characterized by a printable paper backing and synthetic rubber adhesive.
The tear-resistant premium paper backing is made with paper from certified forests and other controlled sources.
Moreover, tesa® 4313 can be used manually or with a dispensing machine and is available in brown and white.
Perfectly printable with all inks.
Ideal for medium-heavy boxes (max 20 kg).
Available in PV2, PV0 and PV12 variants.

tesa® 4513:

A packaging tape characterized by a sturdy paper backing and a synthetic rubber adhesive.
The tear-resistant premium paper backing is made with paper from certified forests and other controlled sources.
Additionally, the synthetic rubber adhesive system provides very high adhesion and initial tack on a wide variety of cartons.
It is perfectly printable with all inks.
tesa® 4513 is the perfect solution for light and medium packaging applications (max. 15 kg).

tesa® 60013:

This is a high-adhesion paper packaging tape reinforced with a glass fiber paper backing and coated with a solvent-free synthetic rubber adhesive system.
Thanks to the glass fiber reinforcement, this product is ideal for packaging applications where a secure closure is required.
Furthermore, the synthetic rubber adhesive provides very strong adhesion to a wide variety of cardboard grades, making it perfect for sealing heavy packages.
Its excellent adhesion and extreme stickiness allow for tamper evidence if the tape is removed from the cardboard.
Ideal for heavy boxes (max 25 kg).

tesa® 60412:

A superior-quality packaging tape for light and medium weight cartons that ensures high performance and contributes to sustainability.
It consists of a 70% recycled PET support obtained from post-consumer waste (PCR) and a versatile water-based acrylic adhesive system.
The tape is temperature resistant and operates smoothly and silently.
Moreover, it is perfectly printable with all inks.
Ideal for heavy boxes (max 30 kg).

tesa® 60400:

This is a bio-based packaging tape suitable for medium-heavy packaging applications (15–30 kg).
The material chosen for the support of this tape is polylactic acid (PLA), which is made from 100% renewable raw materials such as corn starch, tapioca roots or sugar canes.
The adhesive system uses natural rubber with a resin of natural origin.
Additionally, the support is durable, and the product provides strong adhesion on recycled cardboard.
