Scraping and continuous liner

Scraping is an essential step.

Continuous die-cuts must be ready for use: scraping is an essential step.

In addition to eliminating waste, it allows the pieces to be supplied continuously in a discrete form, physically separated from each other.

This operation is fundamental for acrylic foams, which, being a single viscoelastic adhesive mass, are also adhesive on the edges, therefore once die-cut, if not spaced apart, they would tend to re-glue together.

Another possible solution is represented by the continuous liner whose main advantage lies in the ease of its removal allowing immediate exposure of the double-sided tape.

Thanks to the continuous liner it is not necessary to peel the pieces one by one but it is sufficient to lift the liner to expose them all at the same time.

Furthermore, with the continuous liner it is possible to work with gloved hands without touching (and therefore without contaminating) the particular adhesives.
