IATF Certification: a New Starting Point for BMP
The automotive market has always involved a significant part of our business, and in recent years, the IATF certification has become an essential goal. For this reason, we decided to strengthen our Quality Management System, focusing on process optimization, monitoring, waste prevention, and traceability.
Why We Chose the IATF Certification
Following our natural tendency towards change, and with a strong will to improve our quality standards, we began to consider obtaining the IATF certification.
As soon as all preliminary analyses were completed, we felt ready to undertake this path… when Covid surprised us.
We found ourselves at a crossroads: postpone or try? Wait for better times or accept this challenge anyway?
At BMP, it is not unusual to hear echoing (in the hallways, in production, in meeting rooms) a phrase by Philip Kotler that states: “There are two types of companies: those that change and those that disappear.” So, despite the pandemic and the thousand difficulties, we decided to move forward. We chose to go ahead, to evolve.
The Importance of a Constant Commitment
It was not easy. The IATF certification is not a simple matter to manage even in times of maximum calm and serenity, let alone during a pandemic.
But, with pride, we can say we made it: we obtained the IATF certification!
However, we like to see it not as an end point but as a new starting point. At every moment, we will have to prove that we deserve this great recognition; every day, we will have to improve a little more to always be up to the task; every year, we will have to work a bit better than the previous one.
