Liquid structural adhesives, Hot-melt, Spray & Sealants

An adhesive is a non-metallic substance of natural origin (resin) or synthetic origin (glue), capable of stably joining two surfaces of any material.

Adhesives are used when mechanical fixing or fixing using double-sided tapes is not optimal.

Rivets, bolts, screws, welds, by their nature, guarantee high resistance to breakage, solidity, speed and apparent cheapness.

However, it is not always possible/convenient to use them: just think of the surfaces that cannot be easily drilled or all those factors that inevitably, in the long run, compromise the life of the joint (vibrations, oxidation, tension points, etc.).

Furthermore, joining two or more surfaces with metal fasteners does not guarantee certain characteristics such as insulation from water or air, protection from vibrations or shocks and uniform distribution of forces over the entire surface.

Sometimes it is not even possible to use double-sided tape.

This is the case of particular applications in which the conditions require the use of a liquid adhesive mass (threadlocker, micro-applications, process automation, etc.).

The use of glues often requires specific applicators which allow you to improve the gluing processes in an easy, precise and controlled way.

The applicators are available in both manual and pneumatic versions. Some thermoactivate the glues making them liquid so they can be applied, others regulate the mixing ratios as in the case of two-components (catalyst-reagent).

The use of these tools allows you to apply glue in spots or in continuous beads, also ensuring cleanliness and speed in industrial applications.
